Our Fun in the Sun friendly tournament day was blessed with ample sun (after a few early clouds) and certainly plenty of fun - two all-weather courts and two grass courts were used.

Sixteen players participated in the social fun tournament - there was a random draw out of a hat to determine courts, partners and opposition pairs for the first round. Four rounds followed, with five games in each round, and the format followed our regular mix-in pattern. The format worked really well so we are all looking forward to the next Fun in the Sun already - thanks to Louise and Rachael for working out the format, it went like clockwork!

After around two hours of play, a buffet lunch was enjoyed on the terrace beside the grass courts, with a choice of delicious savoury dishes, salads, desserts, Prosecco, and Pimms. Thanks go to everyone for contributing and attending the tournament and for making it such an enjoyable and successful event.
