The physical side of tennis is important and can also help with mental strength in matches and training. There are 4 main areas...
Strength Training - Improving strength can help you hit poweful shots and reduce chance of injury
Speed Training - The abilty to be quick moving around the court. On average there are 200 changes of direction in a match. SAQ Tennis
Supplness - Players need to be flexible and strong for reaching for wide shots and to help with stroke efficiency
Stamina - Players need to be abel to last for long matches of up to 3 hours in club tennis and to keep going in long rallies.
