When young players have progressed through the Mini Tennis framework and reached the age of 11, they are ready to move on to ‘Yellow’ tennis, on the full-size court and with yellow tennis balls. The new 11 & Under age group is designed to make the transition to Green to Yellow tennis smooth. Our approach helps young players develop their skills, make his challenging but exciting move, then progress through the junior age groups. Yellow ball is a reference to standard tennis played with a yellow tennis ball (a regular tennis ball) on a regulation-size court.
