The Committee has been busy on your behalf in the month before lockdown. At its meeting on 14 October 2020, we made some key decisions, about which members will be interested. As an experiment, the minutes have been published on the website, together with three key papers that deal with court resurfacing, the LED floodlights project, and further improvements to the clubhouse. You are invited to read these and appreciate the dynamic development agenda for the Club - and where we need your help.

There are key vacancies on the Committee and existing Committee members are working at full capacity, many combining their fulltime jobs with their volunteering for the Club. We badly need a Secretary, Welfare Officer, Communications Officer and Vice Chair.

Either as committee members, or on a voluntary basis from the wider membership, we also need someone to help the Committee with its site facilities management responsibilities; and we need some help with project managing the LED scheme, clubhouse improvement work this Winter, and court resurfacing next Spring. We need help with grant funding applications urgently as there is plenty of money we can bid for and a good chance of getting it but we need to submit the applications. No prior experience for any of these roles is needed and the work can be tailored to fit your skills and availability. Even if you can only give us a little of your time, there will be something with which you can help.
