COVID-19 update

The government has recently relaxed some lockdown guidelines resulting in tennis being able to resume, albeit in a more restricted capacity.

Tennis can now be played with members of your own household in either singles or doubles.

You may also play singles with one person not in your household, but you must follow strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines as outlined in the poster above from the LTA.

Strensall Tennis Club will now re-open for use, to members ONLY. Non members and those wishing to attend on a play as you pay basis will not be permitted at this time.

Memberships are now open for the 2020/2021 season and can be found on the Membership page of this website.

It is the responsibility of each playing member to ensure they follow the guidelines and ensure hygiene standards are met. This involves washing your hands before leaving your house to play tennis, and the use of hand sanitiser before and after coming into contact with public areas such as padlocks and gates to access the courts.

The club will endevour to provide hand sanitiser on the courts for member use, but it is strongly recommended that each player has their own supply.

The Clubhouse will not be open for use at this time, therefore no changing or toilet facilities will be available.
