14th September - Club Tennis Finals Day- All members are invited to another club event to celebrate the end of the Tennis Championships.
Finals start @ 12 and club BBQ @ 6pm. Tickets available £8pp. Full details to follow. All members welcome.

Tennis
Championships update - we are entering the last rounds of this year's very successful competition. This has grown from strength to strength over the last 2 years Well done everyone involved.
More players needed for the American doubles on Sunday 8th September. Contact Dave Williams if interested / enter online under events..
Cwmdonkin Park - Ace tennis has been successful in being granted the tender for tennis provision at Cwmdonkin park as part of the LTA development programme. This should relieve some of the pressure on our courts as some coaching will move off site.
Juniors news
Welsh Junior champions-
Lily Thomas won the 14s and 16s girls doubles. and Jacob Pearson won the 14s and 18s boys doubles. Congratulations both.
Squash
Racket ball
Gauging the interest in racketball leagues as there is an increase in the number of players participating. Contact Bill Scott (wds747@outlook.com or 07983982294) if interested in joining a league and/or helping to run it.
Masters Squash news
Proud to be part of the Small Nations Cup winners at Amsterdam in the World Squash Masters Championship. The event is aimed at celebrating achievements of the Smaller nations and eligibility is fewer than 10 competitors. Wales fielded 7 players, and competed against Guyana, Singapore, Hong Kong and Switzerland amongst others. 2 silver medals (035 Stacey Gooding and 065 Jll Campion ) clinched the points to secure the cup for Wales for the first time.
England with over 100 players took the Large Nations Cup (again) !
