Sunday 15th Sept saw a return to competitive League tennis being played at Tadcaster Tennis club.  The match was a Mens Doubles Fixture between Barwick/Scholes and Rowntree Park which was originally due to be played at the Barwick/Scholes venue. 

However, due to a clash of fixture dates, alternative facilities needed to be found so Tadcaster offered the use of 2 of their 3 courts and also 3 players to complete the lineup.

A great morning of tennis was enjoyed by all with Rowntree Park (supported by 3 Tadcaster players) running out the eventual winners by 48 games to 27.

An encouraging start for the Tadcaster players who hope to be making a big impact in this league in the 2020 season!
