COURTS NOW OPEN!
These tennis courts have recently undergone refurbishment to fully resurface and improve the quality of these facilities.
It’s part of a nationwide project following investment by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation, delivered by the LTA, to refurbish public tennis courts across Great Britain,
Introduction
Located at the northern end of Tamworth Recreation Ground, these courts are best accessed off of London Road. There are 5 tarmac macadam tennis courts which were renovated in July 2023.
There is no car park.
We're running free coach led tennis sessions at Tamworth Recreation Ground, Mitcham
TFF sessions are either 12yrs and over, or ‘All Ages’. Please check the supporting text on this page for this venue as to which of these categories this TFF scheme falls into. If it is a 12yrs+ only session, please don’t book in children under this age, as 12yrs+ sessions are full court, normal yellow tennis balls, which will be too difficult for younger children/juniors.
