The volume of locally available orange make-up and foundation - surplus to requirements because of lockdown - was not quite sufficient to cover the whole court, so it was decided to employ a contractor to clean and repaint the court in spring 2020.

The line painting quality is so good that it is now impossible to cheat on line calls.

In order to prevent decaying bird droppings,  leaf and other organic matter from damaging the paintwork, it is recommended that it should be brushed between each point.

A spokesperson thought consideration would be given to making an application for the Trump foundation in time for the next repainting.
