We are holding a ‘Meet the Members’ Social Event at the club on the evening of Friday 3rd September.  Members of the club of all ages are welcome for an evening of socialising with other new and seasoned members.  This event should provide an opportunity for you to meet other members / families to play tennis with at the club and to make some more friends in the village, all whilst enjoying a few drinks!   It will also be a great chance to find out about everything that is happening at the club and our future plans. 

The event will start from 6pm and we are planning to organise some fun competitions for juniors of all ages.  Please can all juniors/family members who are planning to attend this event email tarporleytennisclub@hotmail.com to register by 30th August so that we have an idea of numbers for the competitions and can plan accordingly.

There may be an opportunity for adults to have a hit later on so feel free to bring your racket.  There will definitely be an opportunity to have some drinks so please bring your own alcohol / soft drinks and don’t forget to bring some plastic glasses!

Despite the challenges we have all faced over the last 18 months, we have made some fantastic progress at the Tennis Club during this period.  Our membership numbers have increased significantly and we now have over 130 members.  It would be great to see as many of you as possible down at the Club for this social event.
