What can you expect?
At the Blue stage, children will learn fundamental skills for tennis through play in a fun, stimulating and safe environment. Children will be encouraged to make decisions and positively cooperate with other children. Sessions will be active with skills being developed at an appropriate pace to the child’s experience and ability.
Notes from the coach
This Youth Tennis Blue class is aimed at Children aged 4 - 6 years is an introduction to tennis. The class helps to develop the athletic skills, movements and physical literacy required to play tennis as well as basic stroke technique and match play. This is all done through fun exercises, drills, games and mini matches. Please note: Juniors taking part in this course are kindly asked to join the Avenue Club as Members. The benefits of membership include being able to access the courts to practise and play with an accompanied parent. Discounts on holiday courses and other club activities.
