The boy's started the weekend at Wirral Tennis Centre against what they knew would be the toughest opponents Yorkshire. After a match tie break win and a match tie break loss in the singles the score was 1-3 to Yorkshire with the boy's having hope they could win the 2 doubles rubbers to force a match shoot out. The boys took both matches to tie breaks but it wasn't to be with Yorkshire winning them both. Next up the team played Warwickshire and were 3-1 up after some strong singles performances, two more tight doubles matches saw Lancashire win 1 and loose with. This meant the team beat Warwickshire 4-2 with it still all to play for on Day 2.
Sunday saw the boy's up against another local rival Cheshire with the Lancashire players dominating to a 6-0 win. The last fixture of the weekend was against North of Scotland with anothe dominant performance from the boys winning 5-1.
This meant the Lancashire 10 & Under Boys finished in 2nd place behind deserved winners Yorkshire.
