Lancashire Tennis Championships 2023

Bolton Arena hosted our annual Lancashire Tennis Championships which see's players from 8 & Under ot 75 & Over battle it out in both singles and doubles events across 11 days for the chance to become County Champion.

This year saw a increase in entry numbers to over 350 players compete in 80 events and also saw the inclusion of Wheelchair Tennis and a fun adult and child mini red tournament. 

For the third year in a row someone other than Simon Roberts was crowned County Champion, Rob Cowley won the Men's Singles title for the first time beating Ben Davies, the runner up from 2022 in the finals. Rob also went on to win the Mixed Doubles with partner Rachel McCrae and lost in the Men's doubles final 12-10!

Ben Churchman & Mark Rushton- Woods were crowned Men's Doubles County Champions for the 6th time in a row, a impressive achievement!

Emma Heaton was the winner of our new Kep Simcox Trophy, a singles event for ladies aged 19 & over who have not represented Lancashire.
