A group of ten junior players from Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan have raised over £1,600 for their local hospital by running a 26 mile team marathon.

Ben Chilvers, Tom Davies, Hailey Duff, Brennan Foster, Isabella Holland, Harry Lamb, Tom O’Brien, Dylan Sharpe, Sam Tyrer and Isla Weir each ran 2.6 miles individually on Saturday morning, supported by friends and family, safely within government guidance for exercise of course. 

Between them the players completed their marathon in 4 hours 34 minutes.  The run so far has raised £1,666 which will be donated to the local Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Health Services Charity.  Each runner finished the run in their Robin Park team kit with a sign designed by Isabella Holland to show their support for the NHS.
