The winners in the 2019 Lancashire Tennis Awards were revealed this weekend at our Annual General Meeting in Preston.

Following nominations by clubs, coaches, players, parents and volunteers across the county, the following winners were announced at Broughton Tennis Club.  All of the winners in the Lancashire awards will go through to the regional section of the LTA Tennis Awards next year.

• Club of the Year: Holcombe Brook Sports Club
• Player of the Year: Neal Skupksi
• Coach of the Year:  Ben Obong (Aughton LTC)
• Junior Player of the Year: Hannah Rylatt
• Volunteer of the Year: Karen Thompson (Southport Argyle LTC)
• Young Volunteer of the Year: Helena Flanagan (Bolton)
• Competition of the Year: Kiss My Ace Manchester International Tournament
• Official of the Year: Paul Stalker
• Team of the Year: Lancashire Over 55’s Women’s Team
• Community Venue Award: Sefton Park, Liverpool
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Les Atkinson
