12 & Under Boys

Team             Noah Alexandru, Alfred Belfrage, Gwilym Dixon, Max Heaton & Rafe Mcmillan.

The boys made the trip North toNewcastle on Friday afternoon after  practise session at South Ribble.  The team started well at The Northumberland Club beating Durham & Cleveland 4-2 with some close singles matches.  Next up was Nottinghamshire which would turn out to be the toughest fixture of the tie. The team were 1-3 down after the singles but after some doubles performances the score was level at 3-3, a match tie break to 10 points was then played to decide which team would take the win. Nottinghamshire unforunatley won it!

After a long day the boys headed back to the hotel to sleep ahead of matches against North of Scotland and Northumberland on Sunday.

The boys made a great start to Sunday morning with a 4-2 win over North of Scotland and then followed it up with a 5-1 win over Northumberland. This meant the team finished second behind Nottinghamshire who they had just lost to in a match shoot out.
