Bolton Arena hosted our annual Lancashire Tennis Championships which see's players from 8 & Under ot 70 & Over battle it out in both singles and doubles events across 11 days for the chance to become County Champion.

This year saw over 350 players compete in 80 events and also saw the inclusion of Wheelchair Tennis, Visually Impaired Tennis, Walking Tennis and Parkinson's Tennis for the first year.

For the second year in a row someone other than Simon Roberts was crowned County Champion, Imran Aswat won the Men's Singles title for the first time. Simon unforutunately had to retire injured in the semi-finals.

Ben Churchman & Mark Rushton- Woods were crowned Men's Doubles County Champions for the 5th time.

Hima Fernando was our star on the Ladies side winning the all 3 Open titles the Ladies Singles, Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles. As well as this she won the 18 & Under Girls singles and 18 & Under Girls doubles event all at 16. A special mention to her sister Ella who partnered her in the Ladies Doubles & 18 & Under doubles events and played against her in the Ladies Singles & 18 & Under Girls Singles finals!
