Well done to Dorothy Bamber who along with her team mates finished 2nd in  ITF Masters World Team Championships in Turkey at the beginning of March. Dorothy and the rest of the GB team won all their matches in their Group, and beat South Africa in the Semi final, the team played France in the final and lost out in close matches. 

Dorothy and other Lancashire players then competed in the ITF World Individual Championships, Dorothy came runner up in the 80 & Over Ladies Singles event . Dorothy then went on to win the bronze medal in the Mixed 80 & Over Doubles event with partned  Mogens Drehn. (Dorothy pictured below with her medals).

Pam McGrath became the Ladies Over 90's World Singles Champion, adding 90 & Over Mixed Doubles Silver medal too. A amazing achievement!  Christine Baron and Phyllis Bentham were both crowned Women's Doubles 75 & Over bronze medalists. Pam picture above with her medals.
