Lancashire and Yorkshire have staged their first ever 'Roses Charity Challenge' match with top pairs from each County age group battling it out for elusive points. Lancashire Ladies come out on top  with our Over 40's, Elaine Barker and Gail Bolton, holding their nerve to win the final rubber and the event 7-5. 

The event which raised money both on and off the court with magnificent handmade and beautifully decorated 'tennis themed' cakes made over £600 for the British Heart Foundation.

Well done to all those players who took part, baked cakes, ate cakes and supported from the sidelines!
