10-point champions tie breaks proved critical as the Mens 1 took on Sheen 1 and the Mens 2 played The Wimbledon Club 4 in Surrey League matches on Sunday morning on the hard courts.  Luke Steel and Richard Simkins lost the first rubber in a CTB but Ed Tandy and Nick Williams came through in the tie-break decider against the same pair.  Both TD pairs beat the Sheen second pair easily to secure a 3-1 victory.  Our second team lost 1-3 with defeats in two deciding tie-breaks proving the difference between the two sides.
