What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
For tennis players aged for 6 -8 years olds. Here, we’ll help kids improve their balance, agility & co-ordination while teaching them about the sport we love. At this stage it’s not about winning & losing, it’s just getting to grips with the technique! Every Sunday for the next six weeks running from 10:40 -11:40am on the outdoor tennis courts. These sessions are run by enthusiastic LTA qualified coaches who are experience in working with children, enabling them to be introduced to tennis through a relaxed and fun environment.
