Introduction
Thameside Tennis Club is a members run, not-for-profit club where you can play weekend tennis all year round by the river at St Paul’s School, 80 Lonsdale Road, London SW13 9JT. In 2026 we celebrate our centenary year.
We are a friendly club that welcomes players of all standards from complete beginners and rusty returners through to match players. We play on six all-weather carpet courts in beautiful surroundings (with free car parking).
Court opening hours
Saturday – 10:00-17.00
Sunday –10:00-17.00
Wednesday evenings during the summer months (June – August) from 18:00-20:30.
Adult group coaching
Free to members and runs every Sunday from 13.00-15.00. It’s a great way to meet other members and to improve your game. It’s a very popular session which caters for all standards.
Club tournaments
We have regular ‘friendly’ club tournaments – open to all levels.
Group WhatsApp
As well as keeping you updated on news and info on the club the WhatsApp allows you to see who’s going to be at the club and arrange games.
Men’s and Women’s team
We have a men’s and a women’s team who compete in the Surrey league.
Court hire
It is not currently necessary to book courts – you can just turn up and play.
