THE HAROLD MOORHOUSE CHARITY TOURNAMENT

Another good turnout of 21 young players took part in this annual  sponsored tournament on Sunday 28th July despite some threatening skies.

A number of families and supporters made the best of the temporary spectating facilities whilst the children played out a round robin of games in two groups under the scrutiny of the umpires.

The eventual winners were Tia and Faith in group one and Charlie and Nathan in group two.

The HMC shield went to Evie Stilgoe to mark her impressive progress over the past few years.

The Charity's chairman Peter Groom presented the prizes, followed by a well earned lunch for all participants.
