The Club was very sorry to hear the news that James Pollock had passed away on the morning of 20th January 2019.

James (aka Gentleman James) had been a founder member and continued his playing career well into his 8o's . His ability to play well with either hand made him a formidable opponent, especially at the net.

He was our President for a number of years, a duty which he performed with great dignity, adding a  much needed 'touch of class'.

James died after a period of illness, aged 94. His many friends and family will miss him.
