The Burnhams Tennis Fund Raising Club Golf Day 2019

We are holding another golf day, in aid of the New Pavilion, on the 26th October 2019 at Heacham Manor golf course, the same course as last year. They have generously offered the same green fees as last year. Teams of four playing a Texas scramble style game, to speed things, over 18 holes.

Texas scramble

1 Everyone drives off. You choose the best drive and everyone plays their 2nd shot from where it finishes within one clubs length except putting, then from the same place.

2 The same with the second shot and so on until you have holed out. Your score is the number of shots taken to finish the hole and NOT a multiple of all players in the team. ie 3,4,5,6 ­­­------ etc. 

3 Each player must have at least four drives used, so you can’t always use the same players drive.

There will be a Longest drive and nearest the pin competitions as well.  A maximum of four Mulligans per team. First tee time will be 9.04 off the tenth tee and timed to be at the 1st by 11.04 i.e. a four hour round!!

This year as well as a welcome coffee and bacon bun on arrival there will be a rolling buffet after the round. If last year is anything to go by we should have another enjoyable day. The cost will be £37/player, £17 to members of Heacham, to include Green Fees, bacon butty, coffee and lunch. Lunch for non players £10.

Meet at Searle’s nine hole clubhouse. 8.15AM for briefing 8.45AM. Order of play to be sent out later.
