Notes from the coach
Small children haven’t grown their muscles properly and sometimes they’re only as big as a racket! Badminton is a great sport to help children gradually develop physical coordination and learn about physical awareness and perception of space. Here at The Northumberland Club, we have specialised Badminton equipment for young children including nets, giant shuttles and junior rackets. This enables our experienced coach to run fun games in which children can develop and practice their body skill in moving and learn skills in using their rackets whilst having fun around the courts. This is a brand new course designed for 6-9 year olds which will provide fun , skill based sessions making sure that your child’s first experience of badminton is a good one! The course is aimed at getting your child to enjoy the game with lots of fun. All necessary equipment is included.
