On a rare, crisp ,sunny Saturday Thornden's Mixed B team travelled up to enjoy the new astro turf courts at Riverside in Salisbury. They faced unbeaten league leaders  Riverside B. The opposition had a very strong youngster in their 1st pair who made all the difference. Our 2nds,Daniel Heave and Sue Wells , met them first and conserved their energy losing 1 and 0 while our 1st pair Steve Thompson and Helen Haigh beat the 2s 1 and 3. In the next round Steve and Helen battled really hard losing 0 and 5. Daniel and Sue put their previously conserved energy into great use in a crucial tie break decider which they won to give a fabulous draw overall!

Next Sunday 26th there is a crucial match - Thornden Ladies A V Winchester A  AWAY at Bereweeke  10:30 .  If you're free ,come and watch, cheer and have a coffee with us !
