Dec 4th     Mixed B v Portswood starring Mark Wellby, Jackie Thomas, John Francis and Julie Kelly - Portswood proved too strong on the day  but a good time was had by all. Meanwhile Mixed A  comprising Harry Thomas, Antoinette Chastang , Chris Egby and Anna Vinnell (pictured) were playing nearby on the astro of Bassett. They had a happier result , winning 4-0 against 2 very strong pairs. On Sunday Men's B were at home to Littleton. Our players were Joe Henbury with Tom Wotjak and Andy Bickerton with Dan Kwiatkowski . Joe and Tom breezed through, only dropping 3 games, Andy and Dan nearly managed 2 wins but just missed out in a ten point tie break against the 1s. Well done all- win or lose , it's good to be out there competing and representing Thornden Tennis Club!
