Our Thornden men's team comprised Paul Scullard, Matt Sampson, Harry Dunnett and Mats Colling. They were up against the might  of Winchester. It was a lovely day for tennis . Our boys were outgunned on the ratings front- up against three 1.1s and a 2.1. New boy Matt Sampson  made his debut at 1.  They all played magnificently on the fast astro , especially in the doubles to stay very close in both doubles matches but ultimately the only win was from a brilliant singles effort by Harry Dunnett,  who's mum and dad were there to cheer on a great win against all the odds at  number 3 - playing some of his best ever tennis. Next week , it doesn't get any easier when our boys are up against Halton at home.  Halton , who recently beat Winchester!! Good luck boys!
