We're back playing friendly league matches (well , we did this week end, not sure what tomorrow's announcements will bring!)  The ladies A team played Swanmore ladies A at home - we did lose 4-0 but nearly scraped a  couple of sets . Erin and Inger played well together and just lost a 3rd set deciding tie break 10-8 - so close!  It was very quiet only having 2 pairs but nice to not have to play a 3rd match!! No hand shakes or match teas although hot drinks and kit kats were offered! Quite strange but nice to be back on court. Socially distanced photo that hopefully one day we can look back on and think 'glad those strange times are passed'   Any other teams  with match news send them over to me and I will include them!

Edit : Thornden Men's C were away to Warsash on Sunday . Unlike the ladies, they won 4-0 but also with a few tie breaks :  an 8-6 for Steve and Stu and a 10-5 for Lindsay and Chris ! They enjoyed the normal deuces as opposed to the usual winter sudden death deuce!
