Saturday saw our men's A play  Salisbury A at home. There was a  ridiculously high standard of  tennis on show but we unfortunately lost 3-1  ( 2 deciding tie break losses)  Thanks for the entertaining tennis anyway Paul,Mats, James and Harry.  Thornden B men were on the other 2 courts playing Winchester B and they managed a 3-1 win which should keep them up in div. 2. Well done Jay, Dan, Alex and Joe  (there were some 10 point tie breaks involved here too!) 

On Sunday our Ladies A (pictured ) played away to Riverside A. We somehow managed a 3-1 win ( after being  1-5 down in one of the matches ( well done Anna Young!) Liezl and Anna V played brilliantly to win both their  matches . 

Mens D were also on the Riverside courts- a closer than it looks 4-0 loss with Matt and Jamie Pitman getting to a 3rd set tie break against the 1s  ( Jamie played really well) and Mike and Jason getting a close 5-7 against the 2s.  Ladies  B lost at home unfortunately  -awaiting score card for that one!
