Quick catch up with a few bits of news. Firstly, junior  results from Club Championship Day , which was a while back :

Junior matches: Hariket beat James 4-1 2-4 10-7   Sophia beat Elizabeth S 4-3 3-4 10-6  Ashton beat Freddie 6-3 0-6 10-6  (lots of tie breaks here! )  Erin beat Maya 6-4 6-2   

Last week our Apsley B team played  away at  Kingsgate . They came away with a draw which could easily have been a win as there were a couple of tantalising 3 setters which we lost . Representing Thornden were: Mark Wellby, John Francis, Dan Kwiatkowski , Alex Billingham, Abby Whatley, Julie Kelly , Inger Kwiatkowski and Erin Perry- still another match to play for the Bs. 

This week at home, our As played their final match of the season v Swanmore . Swanmore fielded a really strong team and we did well to come away with a win.  Representing Thornden were : Roche Alexis, Tom Wojtak, Harry Thomas (at uni but managed to fill up with petrol at midnight  and get here!) and Alex Billingham, Summer Colling , Magda Kornijcuk (before she goes off to uni- good luck Magda- please come back and play!) Jacquie Thomas ( brilliant win in the mixed) and Frankie.
