What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
Our programmes are designed to get 5-8year olds active and learning new skills in an exciting and social environment. They're full of activities, exercises and fun tennis games that use special equipment to build up physical 'ABCs' (Agility, Balance, Co-ordination), as well as basic technique. Your child will love their first taste of tennis! Parents are encouraged to stay during each Red session, as you can play a key part in helping them learn and have fun. Tots love to share what they're learning with mum or dad, and can get a real confidence boost from your support.
