Mini Orange Tennis is played on a full court with the baseline brought forward to 3/4 length.
This progression is for players, usually ages 9-10 who have sufficient control and racket and ball skills to cope with the court.
At this age, technical and tactical input is increased with grips, swing shapes and movement developed.
The balls are orange in colour and bounce slower and lower than 'hard balls'. This encourages good technique and longer rallies. More info on Mini Orange tennis can be found at- http://www.lta.org.uk/LTA-Mini-Tennis/Orange/Mini-Tennis-Orange/
