After 3 wonderful years of helping people get the most out of tennis at Brampton, we’re moving our programme to improved facilities at Middlesex University, which is probably the best multi sport facility in Hendon.

When I started as Head Coach at Brampton 3 years ago, we had 7 juniors and just a couple of sessions running. We have grown that to 250 juniors and 45 adults benefiting from coaching and lessons with our coaching team of 4 coaches and 2 tennis assistants to cope with the demand. We have also run successful junior teams for 8u, 9u, 14u and 16u age groups so that and have grown the teenage section of the club from 3 to 17 players.

We’ve been selected by the LTA to run their Tennis For Kids programme for the last 3 years and also been asked by the LTA to help define their national schools programme. Additionally we provide weekly tennis for free at local nurseries and have provided free Friday evening family tennis for all at Brampton.

Last year we ran a very successful Great British Tennis Weekend at Brampton with over 100 people registered and were featured in the LTA’s Ace Magazine.

We’ve also supplied coaches for Farm Walk and The Avenue to support them in their hours of need.

During the last 3 years, we have completely turned around the club’s junior programme which is now a substantial revenue stream for the club, and there are now over 50 junior members at the club and we have connected over 100 adults interested in tennis membership with the club, additionally we kicked off the process for the club to get permanent floodlights, so we leave the club in a far healthier position in terms of members and revenue than we found it.

I would like to thank Brampton for the chance to help the community get the most out of tennis and we will continue to deliver high quality tennis coaching from coaches that care in Hendon from different venues.

We're very excited about the opportunity ahead, our programme will benefit from top quality, regularly maintained courts which also have floodlights to allow year round tennis and training. We’re also able to provide more court availability at weekends for our community who are unable to play on Saturdays. Additionally there are cafes and other sporting facilities at this amazing campus such as a state of the art gym that Middlesex University will open up to TopShotTennis customers and we have plenty of easy to use car parking on site.

None of this would have been possible with the support of our amazing coaches, juniors, parents and adults who play tennis with us 7 days a week, and want us to continue delivering quality tennis coaching for the community in Hendon, thank you for all of your support in building something amazing!
