The sun shone brightly for Team E first away game at St Austell.
Ross played alongside Team E debutant Brian and even though they got off to a slow start, they got stronger as the sun was setting and managed to scoop two wins from their two matches.
In the first match Ross's experience in calling shots long was evident when asking Brian to leave them, however Brian's tennis prowess knew ross was out of his mind and contuned to play after all those balls fell well inside the lines and thus won vital points for the team.
As such was Brian's tennis skill he decided, during the point, to lay down and conserve energy. However, Brian unfortunately cut his elbow in the process leading to his first "tennis elbow"
Zhivko and Paul got off to a flying start by dominating their first game with great serving and delicate slicing.
Zhivko serves and Paul slicing cut deep wounds into their opponents morale and their game was over faster than Paul could have a smoke!
Their second game on the contary was a gritty affair and the tension even silenced the wildlife in the area!
As the sun set, courts light shone and the quietness permeating through the air, Zhivko and Paul lost their first set to a tie-break.
Knowing Truro had secured the vital win and with the night temperature dropping, paul and zhivko ended their second set with a last minute resurgence at 3-6.
A good away win the for the team
