A big well done to Truro A who beat Newquay A 10-0 today in the winter league final at Redruth. Its only the fourth time the club have won it in over 40years and the first time that Truro have taken the title since 2015.

The men’s and women’s doubles were both won comfortably in straight sets. Then Kieran and Ella teamed up as No.1 pair to play Newquay’s first pair winning that 6-2 6-2 with some great team work on show. Steve and Sophie meanwhile had a tough start to their mixed going 5-1 down but they managed an impressive comeback winning 11 games in a row and eventually taking the match 7-5 6-1. Great day overall and thanks to all the players who have contributed over the season and to Ella for Captaining a very successful season.
