Our Men's team had an excellent victory in the Men's Middlesex Divisional Cup Final on Saturday 19th September v Sports Hive Actonians. The sun was shining and the whole of USC was busy with sporting activity, our groundsman had worked hard to ensure the grass courts looked amazing and the match was ready to start at 2pm - With social distancing we had a limited number of spectators but they where entertained with some excellent tennis. Middlesex cup format is 3 pairs from each club play  up to 3 rounds against a different opponent on a different court for each match and the first team to score 5 points was the winner, with one point per rubber up for grabs. We had a great start winning leading 2-1 after the first round - Wins for James Mohan and Michael Willis, Mikey Wilson & Ben O'Neill, In round 2 we extended our lead to 4-2 with Wins for James Mohan & Michael Willis and an exciting 3 set match with Nigel Willis and Ian Wilson winning 14-12 in the final match tie-breaker, we now need one more rubber to take victory, James & Michael completed their match with a win and overall victory 5-2..
