The Doubles Doctors launched in December 2020, with tennis coaches Jo Louis and Julie Williams delivering tactical doubles coaching to players in Taunton and Minehead.

The aim of the sessions is to deliver top quality tactical doubles coaching to players, inspiring them to play more tennis within their clubs and centres.  Jo & Julie can either deliver the sessions independently or work alongside a club coach.

Tactical themes covered at the two coaching clincs in Taunton and Minehead included

• Working together with your partner, court positioning appropriate to the game situation.
• Use of the width and height, preventing the net player from 'poaching'
• How as the net player to get involved - movement patterns, when and how to 'poach'

January and February coaching clinics will be confirmed soon in Taunton, Minehead and Exmouth.
