Notes from the coach

Our Saturday red ball beginner course teaches children from 4-8 years of age how to enjoy the game through a series of fun activities with the aim of improving their balance, co-ordination, movement, racket and ball skills. Children will be put into age and standard relevant groups to ensure that they get the maximum out of their experience and grow their love for the sport. We will coach technique on the forehand, backhand, volley and serve with the goal of them enjoying the sport and learning both ball and racket skills. The focus is on teaching the basics in a fun, social and rewarding environment. Rackets are available to borrow from us so just turn up in sporty clothing and make sure you remember to bring a drink!
