We have received a notification from our systems provider, ClubSpark, of an incident resulting in the unintended sending of emails in error. This happened at approximately 4pm on 18th April.
Due to this technical fault, some users received emails incorrectly indicating payment transactions and mandate initiations. These are for members that have previously canceled their GoCardless memberships. We want to assure you that no payments have been taken, nor will any be processed as a result of this error. It was only the email initiated. Additionally, no mandate has been initiated.
ClubSpark offer their sincerest apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. They understand the importance of accurate communication and take full responsibility for this oversight.
Their technical team are continuing to investigate the issue, implementing measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
