Warwickshire Ladies 55s rounded off their season with a 5-0 win over Shropshire.

The result propelled them into second place in the final 2b table, behind Yorkshire.
Making her county debut, Julie Davies beat Brenda Parker 6/1 6/4 while Mel Jennings maintained her singles run to overcome Linda McMahon, 6/2 6/0.
Captain Kate Perkins then stood in to partner Mel for a convincing two-setter against Debbie Hipperson and Joanna Morris.
In a fixture where every game counted towards the final league position, Jette Cowan and Viv Spencer put in a fantastic effort, winning both their doubles rubbers in hard-fought championship tie-breaks.
Well done to everyone who has played this season: Kate Perkins (captain), Natalie Green, Mel Jennings, Carolyn Lindsay, Philippa Middup, Tracey Davies, Keyna Parkin, Miyuki Karski, Viv Spencer, Jette Cowan and Julie Davies. Clubs involved were Kenilworth, Warwick Tennis Club, Streetly, Stratford and Warwick Boat Club.
Thanks to Kate for great organisation, food and practices which will continue over the winter - anyone interested in joining the 55s squad can email Kate on perkins.kate94@gmail.com.
