The year began with our being moved to group 1A.  Our matches were fixed for August and September.  Some dates had to be changed because of team injuries and an away indoor venue not being available.  In the end we played Surrey in August at Warwick and won 4-0 partly due to 2 Surrey players retiring injured.
In September we played Middlesex at Warwick and drew 2 matches all but lost on sets.  Second pair Liz Litherland and Paula Maxwell lost their matches after a long and closely fought contest.  As in the Surrey match, first  pair Isobel Ollis and Liz Graham won their matches. 
We then played Hampshire away at Winchester- and Isobel and Liz Graham won their matches and 2nd pair Paula Maxwell and Hilary Bramley lost 2 close contests. Again we lost on sets. 
Our match against Devon had to be cancelled due to illness and injuries. 
Many thanks for all the team for help in organising home matches at Warwick and Hilary for driving to Winchester.  The visiting teams enjoyed playing at Warwick
And well done Isobel and Liz winning all their matches.
