The players have been exceptional this weekend. Three extremely long days and have gone above and beyond on and off court, supporting each other. We are very proud of you!

To all the parents thank you for your support during the weekend and leading up to the event.

Finally to Lianne and Scott. The event is so much more than just this weekend, from the training sessions to the planning. A fantastic team that made this weekend run without a hitch. Thank you for the guidance given to the players and for all the updates you have given back to Warwickshire this weekend!

Captains Report, written by Lianne Candappa

We arrived on the Friday morning to take on East Scotland, and the girls were raring to go. We got off to a great start with Elsie and Poppy both winning their singles. Ella had a great battle narrowly losing on a championship tie break 10-7, and Mila winning hers. We were 3-1 up after the singles. Charlotte & Elsie fought hard in the doubles just losing out. Ella and Mila were on top form to win 4-0,4-0.

We then took on Surrey, who we knew were very strong and turned out to be the overall winners! We fought hard in the singles but unfortunately lost all 4. The girls still dug deep and won both doubles, coming off with a 4-2 loss.

We needed to beat Nottingham to get into the 3rd/4th play off and the girls came out fighting! We beat Nottingham 5-1 , only losing 1 doubles.

Day 3 was going to be tough, we were all tired after 2 long days but were ready to give it our best shot. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get a rubber and lost 6-0 to Middlesex but did so well coming 4th overall.

The girls worked so hard this weekend and should be so proud of themselves! It was a great experience for the girls/parents and coaches!

Well done to
