Babolat Family attend Wimbledon 2024 Event

In a constant quest for innovation, Wimbledon and Babolat have been making tennis
history for 150 years. As the official partner and equipment supplier of Wimbledon,
Babolat brought its champions together yesterday at Wimbledon. Among them was
Carlos Alcaraz, the current titleholder, who embodies 30 years of Babolat racquet
success.
Babolat brought together its champions this Friday at Wimbledon in a convivial atmosphere.
Carlos Alcaraz, the defending Wimbledon champion and the youngest player to win three Majors on
three different surfaces (including the 2022 US Open on hard court and his recent victory at Porte
d’Auteuil), attended this moment of sharing and exchange alongside Éric Babolat, the brand
president. Alcaraz, who joined the Babolat family at the age of 10 and became the youngest world
No. 1 in September 2022, extended his partnership with Babolat until 2030 during the last US Open.
He was joined by Henry Searle, the 2023 defending Wimbledon junior champion, as well as other
members of the Babolat family, including local ambassadors and coaches, along with Holger Rune
(DEN), Karolina Pliskova (CZE), Xinyu Wang (CHN), Arthur Fils (FRA), Jordan Thompson
(AUS), Sofia Kenin (US), Juncheng Chang (CH), Camila Osorio (COL) and Cameron Norrie (UK).

Unique in the tennis world, the Babolat story began in 1875 with the invention of tennis racquet
strings. A significant milestone was reached in 1994 when the brand designed and launched its first
racquets, driven by the ambition to create the finest racquet and string combination in the world.
Three decades of passion dedicated to tennis enthusiasts. Three decades of global victories with
iconic players like Carlos Moya (ESP), Caroline Wozniacki (DEN), Li Na (CHN), Garbine Muguruza
(ESP), Rafael Nadal (ESP), Francesca Schiavone (ITA), and Carlos Alcaraz (ESP), all of whom have
solidified Babolat's leadership in the tennis market. Players using Babolat racquets have won an
impressive 40 Grand Slam singles titles. By bringing its champions together at Wimbledon, Babolat is
also celebrating this remarkable anniversary.
