Due to the weather and some additional work required on court 4, the work has slowed down a little from the original date anticipated, however we are now looking at everything being completed towards the end of next week! 

What are the final steps?

After the carpet having been laid this week, the remaining work includes sanding the courts and finish painting the lines in.

Court 4 will be painted in a few weeks' time once the tarmac sets and oxidices (yes, that is indeed a thing - the trivia we have learned during this process). Fret not, we will still be able to use the court space  in the meantime. You may want to make the most of the hitting wall or have a leisurely rally that doesn't rely on keeping score!

We have re-opened membership packages this week to allow for both new applications and renewals to take place in anticipation of the courts re-opening next week.  We will confirm an exact date once this is confirmed but are hopeful that this will be in time for the weekend to make the most of the beautiful sunshine that has been forecasted to help us make the most of the remaining season of tennis!
