Keep your nerve

To make the serve

Hit it with some curve

Move your feet

To pick up some speed

6 games a set

Place your bet

Don’t rage

at the page

Of tennis scores

Dubiel Family (Winners of Adult Category)

What up y’all, start the day,

I’m grooving with my buddies as we wait to play.

We’re ready to go, we hit the skies,

We’re in the battle bus, looking for spies

So we land, in Holly Hedges,

Oh my gosh we’ve not been here in ages.

We started with a hundred now it’s just me and my pal

We’re so good, we’ve got a Victory Royale.

Blair Methven (Winner of Junior Category)

There was a young girl from Dundee

Who wanted to play tennis for free

She heard Jack was her man

To help with the plan,

So dashed to West End with glee!

There was an old man from Fife

Who in lockdown got sick of his wife

He crossed the Tay

To see what she'd say

And stayed for the rest of his life!

There once was a boy who loved tennis

Who played so much he became quite a menace!

His mother declared

To all who cared

My boy can serve some aces!

Tennis courts redone

Snow has fallen heavily
No playing just now
