Hi Guys
As promised, we write to update you on the new Scottish Government regulations on playing padel tennis indoors. These new regulations have been incorporated into the Sport Scotland and Tennis Scotland publications on the 9th Oct 2020. The following now apply from 1800 on 9 October for 16 days.
Children under 18 years can continue to take part in all indoor Padel activities, therefore the Junior Padelista Coaching will continue as normal on Sunday
Adults may continue to participate in indoor Padel providing that NO MORE THAN 2 HOUSEHOLDS PARTICIPATE IN EACH GAME
Singles play is therefore permitted
All 3 courts can be used at the same time
Adult group coaching and league games are NOT permitted.
No alcohol is available and social distancing must be adhered to in the in lounge area.
Please note, there has been a change in language from the Scottish Government, and these are REGULATIONS and not advice. Both the club and members/players could be fined if found to be in breach of these latest restrictions.
Hopefully we will see an easing of these restrictions after 2 weeks and that some of you will be able to play doubles in family units in the meantime.
Remember, as a member you can still book to use Judy (the ball feeder) should you wish to sharpen those padel shots in the meantime. 2 households could play against her in random mode!
We hope this has been helpful and look forward to seeing you all back playing as normal soon.
