After a morning of rain, the afternoon saw a big improvement and the Mark Jackson was played in perfect conditions with temperatures very high for this time of the year.

Despite my optimistic weather forecast numbers were low but those in attendance enjoyed their afternoon and there were some tight matches played.

Bob Kirby, Bradley Triffitt and Peter Seeds were in good spirits watching the acting unfold .

Mike Wilkinson and Ann Jones were in good form as they beat Helen Robinson and Bob Kirby 3-1.

After Four rounds of action Ann Jones and Bradley Triffitt were crowned champions. Brad and Mike finished on seven points, but the youngster won the male competition after his opening round victory over Mike.

Congratulations to Ann Jones and Bradley Triffitt who lifted the Mark Jackson trophy this afternoon.

Well played Bob Kirby, Peter Seeds, Mike Wilkinson and Helen Robinson who took the runners up prizes.
