The Directors are delighted to inform you that Mark Hunter, LTA Level 4 Senior Performance Tennis Coach is joining us at Widnes Tennis Academy. He will be joining  Bez’s team immediately and is very keen to get started.

The Directors are totally committed to developing a strong and dedicated team, on and off court, as we move forward and Mark will certainly strengthen the already professional team we are fortunate to have at the club. I know our members share this commitment and would like to thank you all once again for the very positive comments and feedback we are receiving on a regular basis.

Mark has been involved with Performance coaching for 14 years and during this time he has coached players from county level, to junior international level with experiences involving Les Petits As Tarbes, Junior ITF and also Tennis Europe levels. He has also worked with players who’ve gone on to achieve world rankings, or play college tennis in the USA.

Mark was awarded the Cheshire County Performance coach of the year award in 2018 and has worked in performance centres across Buckinghamshire, Lancashire & Cheshire. He is currently the U12 Boys & U18 Girls Cheshire County Captain and possesses a big passion & drive to help nurture & support all players, both juniors & adults, in improving and achieving their goals by educating, motivating & inspiring them.

Dear Members,

I would just like to send out a quick message to you to say how excited & honoured I am to be joining such a vibrant, pro active & successful club. I am really looking forward to joining Andrew’s coaching team and would like to thank them, along with the club directors for allowing me to be part of the Widnes Tennis Academy family. Having been around the club this last week, I can sense & feel, how nice an environment the club is and I’m really looking forward to meeting you all.
